OVERVIEW
We are a trucking company based out of Kansas City, KS. We generally run the central part of the US including Milwaukee, WI, New Orleans, LA, Dallas/Houston, TX, Memphis, TN, Denver, CO and all states in between. This isn't to say that we sometimes run outside of this area depending on customer's needs.We transport a lot of freight right here in the Midwest area also. Lenexa, KS, Wichita, KS or St Louis, MO/IL areas, Omaha, NE etc. Our drivers could be out 10-14 days worst case scenario. Drivers who live locally or within our region could be home more often. We have KW and Freightliner tractors. We haul dry freight (general commodities). We do haul Hazmat at times, but Hazmat endorsement is not a requirement. We offer 3 cents per mile more for Hazmat endorsed drivers when they are under a Hazmat load.
Company driver pay is based on results of MVR, DAC, Background investigation and driving experience.
Requirements:
At least 25 years of age.
At least 3 years recent verifiable experience using same or similar equipment.
Must have valid CDL from state of residence.
Must pass road test.
Must pass DOT Drug, Alcohol and DOT physical tests.
Must understand all Hours of Service Regulations and be able to correctly log per DOT Regulations.
Must be able to read and write sufficiently to maintain records, and understand bills of lading, company notices and drivers manual and company policies. Must be able to receive and follow driving directions. Must possess a suitable work history. This includes the ability to serve customers, work with others and to show commitment to the company safety policy, operations, and paperwork considerations.
Must possess a suitable driving history. This includes no more than 3 incidents, accidents or moving violations on driving record in past 36 months. We run DAC reports, MVR reports and background checks through USIS.
