Hornady Transportation located in Monroeville, Alabama is a flatbed carrier operating east of the Rockies. We do not deliver into Canada or Mexico but we do deliver into New York City. NYC delivery is on a voluntary system which pays an incentive to any driver delivering to the 5 boroughs of New York City. All other dispatch is forced.
For System 1 drivers, we offer home most weekends with a 24 to 36 hours home time. If you want to run more miles, choosing our System 2 fleet will get you home every 10 to 14 days with a 36-48 hr home time. During good economic times drivers averaged 2,300 miles weekly. Our goal for the System fleet is to earn $50,000. These past two years our top earner made over $69,000.
Hornady Transportation continues to upgrade its fleet with new trucks and trailers. Our new trucks are International 9200 series with air-ride suspensions. Qualcomm communications are included for your convenience and to help everybody make more money. Our units also have Prepass with Easypass so scales stops are limited.
We offer a full line of benefits that include Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance, Prescription drug card, Dental, Vision, and Disability. We have a 401(k) retirement plan that offers matching funds. Per Diem is available to help you realize more income weekly while reducing your tax liability. Other benefits are also available.
We do offer a limited number of Contractor and Lease Purchase opportunities. The entrepreneurs in the Contractor and Lease Purchase programs enjoy home time and freight of their choice. Compensation is 70% of Gross Revenue plus 100% of fuel surcharges. Contractors are paid weekly by direct deposit without holdbacks for paperwork.
