OVERVIEW
Hicks Trucking Company, a smal, family-owned and -operated stepdeck operation of 25 trucks has been in business for 38 years. Our company is comprised of both company drivers and contractors. We run all 48 states and our drivers are on the road seven to 14 days.
Our company drivers are averaging $.40 per mile with our top drivers earning $.44 per mile. Our equipment is all late-model Peterbilts and our trucks are averaging 120,000 miles per year. Plus we have a very nice benefit package.
Our contractors are averaging $1.30 per mile net for all miles loaded and empty and our contractors are also averaging 120,000 miles per year. One of the many benefits of leasing to Hicks is that we pay for your tractor plates.
